Nursery Sales Associate - Ashland Store

Valley View Nursery is looking for an individual who can assist with all types of sales and service tasks. Great opportunity to enhance your plant knowledge and flex your “green thumb”.

Requirements

  1. 3 years sales experience in Garden Center or related.
  2. Horticultural knowledge and plant identification of Northwest annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, and ground covers required.
  3. Must be physically fit and able to endure outside environmental conditions.
  4. Must be able to lift 50 pounds of merchandise on occasion.
  5. Must be able to work weekends and variable schedules.

Landscape Construction Superintendent & Crew Members (Ashland/Medford)

Valley View Nursery Landscape Services is looking for a qualified employees with multiple experience levels in Landscape Construction. Candidates must have previous experience with landscape construction. Potential for advancement available.

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Demolition of current landscape
  • Grade level work using general landscape hand tools and power equipment tools as needed.
  • Irrigation preparation and installation
  • Site and bed preparation, planting
  • Install pavers, flagstone patios and walkways.
  • Occasional heavy lifting under safety and company guidelines
  • Perform clean up tasks as needed
  • Operation of loaders, excavators, trenchers a PLUS
  • Knowledge of fencing construction a PLUS
  • Knowledge of light concrete work a PLUS
